The Artist

Since 2004, I have pursued a passion of the heart, photography. During the intervening time, I have refined my photographic techniques to present "painterly" images on canvas.

My latest body of work embraces "Beautiful Italy." Whether in the romantic charm of the seaside villages of the Cinque Terre, the casual elegance of the Old World on Lake Como, or the enchanting countryside of dreamy Tuscany, "Bella Italia" is found everywhere.

Mixing technical skills with an intuitive approach, I utilize a filter system in front of the camera lens, capturing the essential beauty of a place, to create a "painterly" image. My artwork presentation is further enhanced by the use of textured canvas to produce fine art limited edition giclees, in addition to the matted print selections available.

I started my photography career realizing I wanted to share with others through my images the restorative value I found in connecting with nature. My photographic images of Nature, reflecting the beauty around us, include galleries for Nature’s Faces (wildlife) and landscape scenes of Seasonal Color or Flowing Water.
